Several national monuments are also a supporter of Colorado tourism. One of them is the Great Sand Dunes National Monument which is a sand hill that is located in the San Luis Valley, southern Colorado. Meanwhile, Colorado National Monument is located in western Colorado, near the city of Grand Junction, offers attractions cliff, ravine, and the towers nature of the copper-colored rock that formed millions of years ago. The famous rock formation is the Independence Monument, a natural stone tower as high as 250 m which rises from the abyss. At Monument Canyon, a collection of natural wall stood firm spired from the bottom of the ravine to a height of 200 m.
